Since 1985, ILS has provided comprehensive research, testing, and support services in the Health and Environmental Sciences. We offer these services to our federal, state, and local governments, as well as a broad range of commercial clients.

The purpose behind the creation of ILS was to establish a multidisciplinary research organization to provide comprehensive support to federal and commercial clients. ILS achieved this objective by establishing research programs in the environmental and health sciences. ILS couples scientific excellence with efficient management skills to meet client’s requirements in both a responsive and cost effective manner.
With a tradition of scientific excellence, ILS plays an important role in exciting areas of research such as the assessment of new and alternative toxicological testing procedures; molecular and genetic assessments; mechanistic studies of cell growth; cancer and cancer chemopreventive evaluations; translational clinical research; environmental and ecological assessments of hazardous sites; and comprehensive bioinformation capabilities. By our contributions to these endeavors, ILS is helping to improve the quality of environmental and human health, and is making the world a better and safer place for all people.
