Clinical Program wins an extention on Environmental Polymorphisms Regisitry Contract

ILS received official notification from NIEHS that our Environmental Polymorphisms Registry (EPR) contract received a one year extension. This extension will maintain the activities of the contract, allowing for a successful completion of the current initiatives. The EPR contract supports a study designed to collect and analyze blood samples from individuals to test for genetic mutations that increase susceptibility to disease. ILS is currently managing the day-to-day aspects of clinical research, recruiting volunteers to participate in the study, following up with recruited participants, coordinating interactions between NIEHS Principal Investigators and various collaborating investigators and staff; submitting materials for IRB approval and creating and managing study-specific databases. Please join me in congratulating the clinical team and all others involved in this significant accomplishment.
