ILS scientists complete significant milestones in the DABT recertification process 31 Dec 2009
ILS would like to congratulate Dr. Susan Borghoff, a Diplomate since 1994, and Dr. Judy Strickland, a Diplomate since 1995, who both received notification that they have successfully completed all requirements for recertification for the five-year period beginning January 1, 2010 and January 1, 2011, respectively. Dr. Glenda Moser also received notification that she has successfully passed the open resource examination as one of the criteria required in the recertification process for maintaining her status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology (DABT). Dr. Moser became a DABT in 2005 which requires recertification every five years. Recertification requirements include demonstration of (1) continuing education in toxicology, (2) active practice of toxicology, and (3) maintaining expert knowledge in toxicology which is evaluated with an open resource examination during the fourth year of recertification.
ILS has an additional DABT on staff, Dr. Les Recio. Dr. Recio has been a Diplomate since 1998.
