ILS Names New President

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Integrated Laboratory Systems (ILS), is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. David Allen as the company’s new president. Dr. Allen brings to this position a well-established background in the life science industry with more than 17 years of experience in the CRO sector, serving both federal and commercial clients.

Dr. Allen was the 2017 recipient of the Society of Toxicology Enhancement of Animal Welfare Award. He is the current President of the American Society for Cellular and Computational Toxicology and is a past President of the Society of Toxicology In Vitro and Alternative Methods Specialty Section.  Prior to joining ILS, he was a toxicologist for the Food and Drug Administration, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, where he was responsible for evaluating toxicological and pharmacological data for investigational new drug applications.

Dr. Allen received his B.S. in Zoology from North Carolina State University, his M.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and his Ph.D. in Cell Biology from North Carolina State University.
